As an Amazon Seller you can save money on Amazon shipping by using logistics centers in our neighboring countries Poland and Czech Republic. If you do this, you pay 35 cents less per unit sold. For smaller items, the price is reduced by 25 cents. Storage in these countries is even desired by Amazon, as the shipping network is thus better balanced and the transport to the various destinations works optimally. You can find the corresponding setting in Seller Central under the options for cross-border shipping. However, you should note that this option only exists for Amazon FBA sellers. The new laws regarding Amazon sales tax mainly affect those sellers who are not based in the EU. Specifically, since July, they now have to pay sales tax on goods under a value of 150 euros from abroad or on goods that have been stored within the EU.
