Amazon Returns Unpacked: New feature available from October

Send Amazon return unpacked

The service to bring an Amazon return unpacked to a parcel store will be offered by Deutsche Post from October. In the USA, by the way, the option has already been available since 2019. Accordingly, your customers do not have to take packaging or a shipping label with them. Instead, they will receive these in the parcel store. However, only Amazon items qualify for the Return Unpacked option if they are small and light enough to be shipped in a shipping bag. They should also be able to withstand minor impacts. As a buyer, you have to go to the DHL store with the item accordingly, where the shipment will then be sent to Amazon after a week at the latest.

New fees for sales tax services

As of October 1, 2022, new fees apply to Amazon's sales tax services. The services are aimed at Amazon sellers who sell goods abroad. For each marketplace, a seller namely needs a sales tax registration in the respective country. With the tax service providers, such as AVASK, Amazon therefore provides a help. With the change in fees, you now have to pay 50 euros for a registration in Germany. A registration in another country, on the other hand, costs 150 euros. There is also an annual fee of 350 euros.
