We have already introduced Follow-Up to you in our blog. Now we would like to give you a fitting Helium 10 Follow-Up tutorial for the tool. We will show you what you need to do after registering, where you can find templates and create your own e-mails. We will also explain which links you can attach to your e-mails.
1. How to register?
You can log in as usual via your Helium 10 account. Click on the Follow-Up Tool at the top right. You can then add short names to your products. The first 200 products are automatically integrated into the tool. After you have assigned the short names, you can create e-mail templates that optimise your customer communication. You will find the “Templates” section in the menu on the left-hand side. And you’re ready to go!
2. Where to find templates?
In the “Templates” area you will then find a blue and a golden coloured area. In the latter you can later refer to saved templates. In the blue area, on the other hand, you will find templates that you can use as a guide. You can use these as you wish for your own templates. By navigating to a template, you can access it and either read through it or copy it into the golden area. You can then use the corresponding template for a new e-mail.
3. How to create your own templates?
In the golden area you can now open the template editor. In the first column you can see the different tags for your mails. In the second, you can write the actual content. On the far right you can also see a preview of the message to your customer. To ensure that your e-mail contains the right references, you must also specify the product it is about. Furthermore, you can give your template a name. This makes it easier to keep track of it later. Finally, you can save your draft in the upper right corner.
4. How do you compose a customer e-mail?
There are a few things you should keep in mind with every e-mail. In any case, you should always communicate in a friendly manner. Say why you are writing to the customer. Also be brief and state which product is relevant to the message. In addition, you should ask your customers for feedback and express your thanks. Customer e-mails are a great way to leave a lasting impression on your buyer. Therefore, tailor the message to your target audience. Helium 10 also helps you to use tags for your e-mails. Therefore, you can, for example, insert images so that they have the optimal size. You can also adjust the date according to your sales market.
5. What links can you add?
At the bottom of your mails, you can also insert links that your customers can use to access Amazon. The feedback link leads them to the respective Amazon storefront. The second link is for communication and therefore leads customers to the Amazon messaging system. The third link can be used to give feedback, which is completed by a rating based on stars. Note that you are not allowed to ask for positive reviews, as this violates Amazon’s customer communication guidelines. In addition, your messages may be blocked by Amazon if they do not comply with the regulations.
