Amazon sellers can now sell in Belgium

The new Amazon Marketplace in Belgium is now available. Amazon sellers can accordingly sell their items in Belgium. Here you will learn what steps you need to take to do so. First, it is about the synchronization of your products. After that, you will learn which sales tax requirements apply to Belgium. Finally, we explain what else needs to be done.

Amazon Belgium available for Seller

If you are already a seller in the "Professional" tariff, Seller Central Belgium is already available for you. But how does Amazon actually synchronize your Amazon Listings? For this, you need to activate the "International Listing Creation" feature in Seller Central. This way you can synchronize your items. The products from your home marketplace will thus also end up on the new marketplace in Belgium. The function is therefore very time-saving for you and also ensures a low effort for the setup for Belgium. However, if you no longer want your products to be listed in a particular country, you can also remove the link at any time. Furthermore, the translation of your listings is done automatically. However, if you would like to do this yourself and need help with the translation, feel free to drop us a line! We will be happy to help you have product detail pages translated by native speakers.

Which products are eligible for it?

Eligible items are those for which delivery to Belgium is logistically possible. For FBA and PAN-EU products, VAT differences are taken into account. For the latter, you benefit from domestic charges. Through the International Quote feature, Amazon also updates your prices to account for currency conversion fluctuations.

This applies to sales tax

If you store your products in a European logistics center, you might have to follow certain VAT guidelines. For storage in Belgium, you would need a local tax ID. However, this only applies if you reach the limit of 10,000 euros with your products.

What sellers should also pay attention to

After synchronizing your products, you will receive a message from Amazon. However, it may take a few days with this. You can view the items for the Belgian market at any time in Seller Central and make changes as desired. Furthermore, you should once again check your shipping settings.

These were the most important info Amazon Sellers need for the new marketplace in Belgium. Do you still have questions about the requirements for your products or need help optimizing your Belgian product detail pages? We will be happy to assist you in this regard with words and deeds. Just send us a message - without any obligation, of course.
