Important dates for Prime Day 2022
Amazon Prime Day was the biggest sales event so far in 2022, with customers purchasing more than 300 million items via the sales platform, more than 50 million more than the previous year. Accordingly, it was also evident that sellers invested more in advertising, which ultimately paid off. Overall, spending was 11 percent higher than in the previous year. RoAS, or Return on Advertising Spent, was 3 percent higher than the previous week. Conversions were also 148 percent higher than the week before Prime Day.
