What do you need Trendster for?
For Amazon Sellers, there are several reasons why you should know about the best time of year to sell a product. 1. Start Trendster search
First you need to open the Trendster tool in the Helium 10 Dashboard. Then you just need to follow the steps in the Helium 10 Trendster tutorial. To start the search, you must first have a product ASIN ready. You must then enter this in one of the four fields provided. Depending on your needs, you can also search for several ASINs at the same time. In addition, you can enter up to four keywords below, which Trendster then uses to analyse the frequency of Google searches for them. In the drop-down menu in the upper right corner, you can specify the Amazon marketplace to be searched. Then click on “Start Trendster” to get started!
2. Analyse search results
The search results that match the ASINs you selected are now displayed. At the top, you will see the name of the product, the main image and the Amazon customer reviews. Below that, you will again find a graphic that evaluates the sales rank in relation to the price. There you can then choose whether you want to view the data for the last 24 hours, the last week, the last month, the last 90 days or the entire period since the product has been on Amazon.
If you have searched for keywords, the results are also displayed in the form of a diagram. Important: This is exclusively Google data, not Amazon data. These then appear on the right-hand side of the screen, next to the diagrams on sales rank and price. You can use these charts to evaluate search trends in the Google search engine. You can display the results by day, week, month, or year. By navigating with your mouse to a certain point on the curve, you can view the search volume of the respective day. If either Amazon or Google does not provide any data on the ASINs or keywords, you will see an error message where the chart appears.
