Helium 10 Cerebro Tutorial: How to analyse the keyword list

In the previous Helium 10 Cerebro tutorial, we already showed you how to find ASINs and use them to identify your competitors' products. We also informed you about what facts you can take from the boxes in the search results. This article will now focus on the keyword list. Furthermore, we will show you which filter options you have in the Cerebro search. You can also find a detailed tutorial directly at Helium 10.

Keyword list

After you have looked at the 20 competing products you should keep an eye on, it is time to turn to the keyword list that Cerebro gives you. To do this, you must first close the window and go back to the search results page. Below the area that was the focus of the first Helium 10 Cerebro tutorial, you will now find a list of keywords or keyphrases. These also belong to the ASINs you used to perform the Cerebro search. The corresponding data is arranged in columns. Each of these columns provides you with different information.

1. What do the individual columns say?

In the first column you will find the data on the Cerebro IQ Score. This is an assessment of the sales probability, which is calculated by Helium 10. The calculation is based on the number of products and their success with customers on Amazon. The number of organic search queries is also used. So pay attention to which products have a high Cerebro IQ Score. If you then click on "Search Volume", you will find out which keywords rank highest in this category. You can find out about the number of sponsored ASINs in the column "Sponsored ASINs". There you will see the data for the last time. It is also very practical to sort the keywords by this category.

In the next column, you can find out whether a certain product has to be offered at a reduced price after one week. If you also want to know whether a product is recommended by Amazon, you will find all the data below the heading "Amazon Recommended Rank". "Sponsored Rank" also informs you about the potential of a sponsored ad on Amazon, while the last column shows the organic rank.

2. Multi ASIN search

In a multi-ASIN search with Cerebro, the keyword list looks different from a conventional search with only one ASIN. First and foremost, you get a comparison between the data of the respective ASINs. By the way, you can also download the data to access it later. To do this, simply click on "Export". You will find the corresponding field in the Cerebro Dashboard on the upper right edge.

3. These filter options are available

In addition to viewing the keyword list, you also have the option of filtering the results. This will give you more precise hits that match your research interest. Firstly, you can set a minimum or maximum search volume for keywords. You can also specify that a certain Cerebro IQ score must be reached. This way you ensure that only products with potential are shown to you. In addition, you can limit the search range in terms of organic rank. By the way, for long-tail keywords, it is recommended to increase the number of words eligible for keyphrases from two. You can also use the other columns, which have already been explained in the paragraph above, as filters for your search as you wish.

Finally, a little tip: If you later want to refer back to the Cerebro search you have made, simply click on "History". This will show you all past searches with the tool. You can then either delete them or connect them to old searches if you want to do further research in an area.
