Black Friday week is over. But for Amazon sellers, that doesn't mean there are no more events this year. You can still participate in the last minute deals in December. You can also find out when the winter deals will take place. For those who still don't know what coupons and Exclusive Prime discounts are, there is also the necessary info.
This year, the last minute deals will take place between December 5 and 22. The participating marketplaces are Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy and Spain. In addition to the last minute deals, the winter deals also take place. Here, however, there are different periods in the different countries:
Coupons allow you to deal digital discounts to your customers. They can be submitted up to one day before the start of the term. The maximum duration is 3 months or 90 days. Coupons must have a discount of at least 5 percent. You also need a rating of at least 3 stars. Both FBA and FBM products are eligible. Furthermore, you need to check that coupons do not overlap with other promotions.
Another marketing tool are the so-called Prime discounts. For these, the minimum discount is 10 percent off the retail price. The upper limit is 80 percent. The product must also be Prime-enabled. There are no fees for Prime discounts, by the way. However, you need a rating of 4 or more for you and 3.5 or more stars for the product. Also, you can only discount new products.
First you need to click on "Create discount" in Seller Central. After that, set the start time and the end. These should be the same as the Last Minute or Winter deals mentioned. Then click on "Save and add products". Finally, all you need to do is download the discount upload form and enter the relevant info there.
These were the most important Amazon news this week. Do you still have questions about the last minute deals or need help with coupons or Prime discounts? We are happy to help you in this regard with words and deeds. Just send us a message - of course without any obligation.
