How to optimize the Amazon Store

Amazon sellers who want to optimize their store should always keep in mind that more than two-thirds of users view your store via a mobile device. Amazon is aware of this fact and has accordingly introduced a feature that allows you to see how the design looks on different devices when creating your store.

Preview for mobile devices

To use this feature, you need to click on "Preview" in the top right corner when creating your store and then click on "Share Preview". Afterwards you will receive a link, which you can then call up on a mobile device. There you can then check if the design settings are what you want or if you still want to make changes. Due to the smaller screen, the elements are arranged differently on a mobile device than on a PC. Therefore, you should make sure that the order in which the images, videos and text elements are displayed does not get mixed up.

Header

Since the header image of your store does not automatically adapt to the smaller display of mobile devices, you should not display too many products at once. Otherwise, you will overwhelm your customers with images and may scare them away. Also, don't put too much text in the header.
