More and more Amazon sellers are deciding to participate in the Amazon FBA program lately. For this reason, Amazon has now ensured that there is new capacity for FBA shipping in the EU and the UK. But it's not just the capacity that's been increased, the efficiency in the logistics centres has also been improved. In total, Amazon has opened ten new logistics centres in the affected areas this year alone. The new capacities are now especially important as we enter the Christmas season and the workload is accordingly very high.
In this post back in October, we already informed you about the upcoming policy changes for adult products. However, Amazon has now announced that they want to give sellers more time to make the switch. Therefore, the date has changed from November 15, 2021 to January 17, 2022.
Finally, we would like to give you a tip on how to add a second line to an SKU. SKU stands for "stock keeping unit". This product identifier must be on every product that is in your inventory. It must always be unique and cannot be changed. Now, if you would like to add a second line to an SKU, you will need to click "Add Packaging Line" under "Information/Action" in the "Send to Amazon" step.
