In this post, we would like to introduce you to a new feature that is interesting for Amazon sellers. It's about order processing capacity - how many orders you can ship per day. Among other things, the function helps you to ship fewer items late. So we'll explain what else the new feature is useful for. You can also find instructions on how to set the order processing capacity below.
As mentioned above, since August 30, 2021, Amazon's new feature allows you to set how many products you can ship per day. This applies to shipping by sellers, not Amazon FBA. You can also set the processing capacity as it suits you best. This way, you can always respond to higher demand. This will prevent your shipments from arriving late and decreasing customer satisfaction.
To change the edit capacity, all you need to do is follow these steps: First, open Amazon Seller Central. Then, click Settings and click the Shipping Settings subcategory. Then, select the Settings subcategory again within Shipping Settings. After that, you can select and edit the processing time. Now you will find the new Amazon function "Order processing capacity". You can set this as required and save the settings.
You don't need to worry about the new Amazon feature changing your currently set processing time. This will remain unchanged as long as you do not change the processing capacity according to the explanation above. Moreover, there is also no compulsion to use the new feature. However, it is recommended to use the setting to ensure faster deliveries.
If you also need support regarding your Amazon inventory, we can recommend a tool that takes over numerous tasks for you: Helium 10 Inventory Protector. From ordering new goods to managing the existing inventory, the tool is a great help. Moreover, it is extremely easy to use. You can find more information in this article.
That was our quick summary of the new Amazon order processing feature. Do you have any further questions about Amazon shipping or need help with Amazon optimization?
