How to use the automation dashboard?
First you have to go to the “Automation” section in the Follow Up Tool. This area is very important for you because all the automations you have created are saved there. You can also edit or copy them from there. The automations are sorted in the dashboard according to whether they are active or paused. You should give your own automations names. You can also use keywords to search for specific automations. So that you do not lose the overview, you can also limit the view to the automation sequences that are relevant to you in the “Page limit” area.
How to create an automation sequence?
To create an automation sequence, you must click on the golden area labelled “New automation”. A window then appears in which you can select a new automation. On the golden button “Order Shipped” you can see all actions that lead to the sending of customer mails. So, if you want to send a mail that is sent after a product has been delivered, you have to select “Order Shipped”. At the end of each chain you can click on the small plus symbols. There you can choose between “Wait” or “Send”. If you choose “Wait”, you can specify how long after delivery a request for feedback will be sent. If you click on “Send” instead, all saved templates will be displayed. After you have selected the appropriate template, you must confirm the selection at the bottom right. This action is then added to your automation sequence.
How do you filter the recipients?
Follow Up offers you the possibility to select which clients receive mails from a certain automation sequence. To do this, click on the golden plus symbol under the blue chain. You will then be shown all the filter options. Then you must click on Marketplace. There you can then select which customers should receive the messages. A pink box lets you know that customers will receive the corresponding emails. With “Select SKU” you can also specify that only customers who have bought a product with a certain ASIN will receive an email. You can also filter by product name. In addition, Follow Up offers a filter function where you can use different sequences for each country. You can also filter by the price of your product. Another filter option is “Select repeat buyers. With this option, you can decide whether customers who have chewed your product again will receive a new message or the same as the first purchase.
How to find the automation again?
After you have saved everything, you can go back to the automation dashboard. The most recent automation will then be displayed. Under “Add tag” you can add tags to your automation, which makes it easier to find again later. You can also set a colour for tags. At the bottom left, you can then save everything. You can also repeat this process afterwards. When you are back in the automation dashboard, you will see all your changes. Now you can get started! To do this, click on “Pending” next to the title of the automation and change the status to “Active”.
