Since the beginning of April, there have been some changes that Amazon has set for new FBA products. In order for you to benefit from them, you should get an idea of the updates. At this point, however, we would first like to present some of the benefits of the programme so far: The first benefit is a real gamechanger - free storage. Alongside this, with FBA you benefit from free returns and can have unlimited returns processed in all sizes.
But now to the changes: Previously, sellers in the shoes, clothing and bags category could only have 50 units stored and returned free of charge. Now this service is doubled to 100 units! In addition, the storage fee is no longer waived for 90 days, but even for 120 days. The new period for waiving the handling fee for returns of up to 20 units is even longer. The previous 120 days have been extended to a full 180 days. The countries in which the innovations are being introduced include Germany, France, Spain, Italy and the United Kingdom. Amazon has recently introduced the new sales category "Bicycle Accessories". To help sellers sell products in this category, the percentage sales charge was directly reduced from 15% to 8%. The product types that are assigned to the new category include backpacks, shoulder bags and bicycle bags, bicycle bells, bicycle covers, bicycle locks, bicycle mirrors, bicycle pumps, bicycle stands, bicycle trainers, bottle cages, mudguards, quick release skewers, rim straps, saddle covers, training wheels and valve covers. However, some items, such as cycle clothing, cycle glasses or cycle helmets, do not belong to the new category.
